Japan Hotel Internship Program (Paid)

Program Overview
Total Fee: A$2,200 (includes visa support)
・Application Fee: A$550 ーnon-refundable, payable upon applying
・Balance: A$1,650 ーpayable after acceptance
Airfare and accommodation are not included.
Accommodation may be provided depending on the employer.

Any educational background is welcome
Any major work experience: preferably hotel and restaurant experiences.
Basic Japanese knowledge preferred

Upon Arrival
Meet our greeter: advice on how to get to the workplace
Arrive at the hotel and check in at the accommodation
Orientation by the employer
Obtain foreign registration and health insurance at the local public office, and open a local bank account
Start work at the hotel!
At the end of the internship, there’s also an opportunity to switch to a work visa and stay in Japan permanently. The process is straightforward: applying for a work visa with the same employer costs around JPY 50,000 (approximately $500), while applying with a new placement is JPY 100,000 (around $1,000).
Students of Japanese Australia also receive exclusive perks when applying for the program, including 5% off online lessons for the first month.
You don’t need to be fluent in Japanese to apply — but learning the basics will make your experience far more rewarding and help you settle into life and work in Japan with confidence.
